Can you accept card payments on Wix in Jamaica?

Yes, and Jamaica has more options than most of the region. Wix Payments is not available here, but Wix's own country list shows PayPal, CXPay, Tilopay and Paymentwall for Jamaica — the only Caribbean market in that list with a fourth provider. Beyond those, any gateway can be added to your site as a custom payment provider, settling JMD into your own account. Paperless Blueprint builds, tests and maintains that connection.

Wix listings are from the Wix Help Center country list, checked September 2026. Paymentwall's settlement route for Jamaica is left blank because we have not independently verified it — we would rather show a gap than guess. Keron Rose reported in 2022 that most Caribbean markets are not eligible for PayPal withdrawal access. Tilopay is the official First Atlantic Commerce bridge to Wix, announced 2021, and its fee is widely reported at 1 percent per transaction on top of your processor — Newsday, 2023.

Wix Payments Jamaica FAQs

Yes. Wix Payments is not available in Jamaica, but Wix lists four providers here — PayPal, CXPay, Tilopay and Paymentwall — which is one more than it lists for Trinidad, Barbados or The Bahamas. Beyond those four, a gateway of your own can be added to the site as a custom payment provider. Wix's own country list is where those four come from, checked in September 2026.

CXPay, Tilopay through a First Atlantic Commerce merchant account, PowerTranz on that same rail, and Fygaro all reach a local account. WiPay pays into your WiPay account, and Jamaica's own platforms, AmberPay and LascoBiz, settle through accounts you hold with them. You are paid in JMD, and in USD where both your gateway and your account allow it. The one exception is PayPal, which holds the money in a PayPal balance instead.

Yes, if you want the money in a Jamaican bank. NCB, Sagicor Bank Jamaica, Scotiabank, CIBC Caribbean and First Global all sell an e-commerce merchant facility, and it is a separate product from the business account you already hold, with its own application and its own approval. A few platform-style gateways will onboard you without a bank facility at all. We will tell you which of those routes suits you before you apply anywhere.

It depends on the bank, your monthly volume and the kind of business you run. Expect a monthly fee for the facility plus a percentage of each transaction. We do not publish Jamaican bank pricing here — it moves, and it is not ours to quote. Ask each bank for current terms when you apply, and tell us what you are offered so we can factor it in.

The bank side is identical; only the plumbing changes. We already run Jamaican bank and platform integrations on Shopify, so the merchant facility, the credentials and the live testing are familiar ground. On Shopify the gateway slots into settings Shopify already owns. On Wix, a gateway that is not already on Wix's list has no slot waiting for it, so we build one, and Wix then treats it like any provider it does list.

Apply for the merchant facility first, because that is the part with a queue. The provider can be coded into your Wix site while you wait, so nothing holds you up once the bank says yes. Your existing payment methods keep working throughout — nothing is switched off until a real test card payment has gone through and you are happy with it.
