Website Maintenance FAQs

Our website maintenance plans are $129 a month for Care, $399 a month for Care+ and $799 a month for Partner, billed in US dollars, month-to-month. Care keeps your site hosted, backed up, monitored and updated. Care+ adds 2 hours of design and development work a month, and Partner adds 5 hours plus a monthly strategy call. Extra time beyond your allowance is 165 US dollars an hour, and we tell you before we start.

Anything hands-on we do for your site: design and development work, content changes, a new page section, a bug fix, a plugin configured properly. We track in 15-minute increments and tell you before we start anything that will take longer than you have left. Routine maintenance work is never billed against your hours — updates, backups, monitoring and security are included in every plan.

Partly. Unused hours roll over up to 25 percent of your monthly allowance, and rolled-over hours expire after 60 days. So a Care+ plan (2 hours) can carry a maximum of 30 minutes into the next month. We cap it deliberately: banking six months of hours and then asking for a redesign is a project, and projects get quoted properly.

We tell you before it happens, never after. You can approve the extra time at 165 US dollars an hour, move up a plan, or let the work wait for next month. We do not quietly run up an invoice. If you are consistently going over, upgrading is cheaper than paying overage, and we will say so.

No lock-in. Every plan is month-to-month and you can cancel anytime. If you pay annually you get two months free. If you leave, your site is yours: we hand over the backups, the credentials and a written summary of how everything is set up.

Yes, after a paid onboarding audit. An unknown codebase is an unknown risk, so before we take responsibility for keeping a site online we go through it properly: how it is built and hosted, what is out of date, what is already broken, and what will bite us later. You get the findings in writing whether or not you go ahead with a plan.

We work 8am to 6pm Eastern, Monday to Friday. Our team is in Trinidad, which is UTC minus 4 year-round with no daylight saving, so in summer we are on the same clock as US Eastern and in winter we are an hour ahead of it. Either way, your morning is our morning. The 4-hour response SLA applies to the Partner plan; Care+ is answered within one business day.

Malware removal is included in every plan. We scan for it, and if something gets through we clean it, restore from a known-good off-site backup, close the way in, and tell you what happened in plain language. That is the point of daily backups and 24/7 monitoring: the difference between an afternoon of work and a catastrophe.
