What is PowerTranz (First Atlantic Commerce)?

PowerTranz — formerly First Atlantic Commerce (FAC) — is a Caribbean payment gateway. It authorises Visa and Mastercard payments with 3-D Secure and connects your online checkout to your bank's merchant account; your own bank then settles the money into your own account. Everything about how it connects to your bank and your Shopify store is unchanged — only the name is different.
